The Anti-Arthritis Diet by Cécile Bertrand, RD

The connection between inflammation, oxidative stress and arthritis has become increasingly clear. Poor dietary choices may cause inflammatory responses that erode the body’s wellness and pave the path for ill health. Based on her practice, Cecile Bertrand has devised a complete program for how to eat and cook to minimize and even prevent inflammation and its consequences. The first part of the book explains the benefits of the anti-inflammatory diet with an accessible discussion of the science behind it. It emphasizes eating more antioxidant foods, anti-inflammatory fats and spices.

The second half of the book contains 50 recipes. Most of the dishes can be prepared quickly and easily by even novice cooks. The joint-protecting score of each recipe has been scientifically computed. It appears as a graduated guide mark.
